Our advocates and staff are educated in the complexities of education process, but it is still important for our clients to be informed when it comes to their child's educational rights.

We have so much information and we want all parents to access it! In this section, we talk about how to decide if you need an advocate, the terminology of the education system, what disabilities we can help you with, and online support groups and information.

Rhode Island Advocacy for Children is now a project of The Arc Rhode Island.

The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.
